Data deletion

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Delete your TaskSteer account in the app

Open TaskSteer, go to Profile → Account → Delete account, and follow the confirmation steps. You may need to sign in again to confirm ownership. Account deletion removes the TaskSteer account and the account-associated app data managed by TaskSteer.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, or need help with a data request, email support@mindsteer.app.

  1. Use the subject TaskSteer data deletion.
  2. Include the email address used for your TaskSteer account and the sign-in method: Google, Facebook, Apple or email. If you used Apple's private relay email, include that address if you know it.
  3. Tell us whether you want your TaskSteer account and associated saved data removed, or have a different data request.

Do not send passwords, payment card details or the content of your tasks. We may ask you to confirm account ownership before processing the request. We will acknowledge verified requests and confirm the outcome by email, in accordance with applicable requirements.

What account deletion covers

The request covers your TaskSteer authentication account and associated saved task content, steps and session data managed by TaskSteer. TaskSteer and MindSteer accounts and data are independent. A TaskSteer deletion request does not request deletion of a MindSteer account.

Some technical logs, purchase records or backups may remain for provider retention periods or where needed for security, legal obligations or resolving an issue. See the Privacy Policy for details. We do not promise immediate removal from every provider backup.

Local data and linked providers

If you used TaskSteer without an account, your tasks are stored locally on your device. Removing the app removes its local app storage from that device; device or system backups are managed separately through Apple. Signing out alone does not constitute a cloud account deletion request.

Deleting a TaskSteer account does not delete your Google, Facebook or Apple account or data those providers hold independently. Manage that information with the provider. You can also remove TaskSteer's login permission from the provider's account settings.

Cancel subscriptions separately

Account deletion or uninstalling TaskSteer does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Open your Apple account's subscription settings to cancel TaskSteer Premium. View Apple's cancellation instructions. Apple also handles refund requests under its policies.
