1. Who provides TaskSteer

ENRASOFT APPS SL provides TaskSteer and is responsible for the data processing described here. Contact support@mindsteer.app with privacy questions or requests. This policy applies to TaskSteer, including its app and these support pages.

2. Local use and independent accounts

Task titles, steps and session records are saved on your device. When you sign in, local task data can be associated with your TaskSteer account and synced to cloud storage. TaskSteer uses its own Firebase account and data configuration. TaskSteer and MindSteer accounts, content and subscriptions are separate; using the same sign-in provider does not combine them.

3. Data processed to provide the service

  • Account information: account ID, name, email address and sign-in provider information needed for authentication and account management. Google, Facebook or Apple may provide information you authorize during sign-in. Apple may provide a private relay email address.
  • Your task content: task titles, step text, completion state, saved task changes and session records, such as session duration, state and timestamps. This content can reveal personal information depending on what you write.
  • App preferences: language, session choices, notification preferences and privacy choices stored to support your settings.
  • Purchase information: subscription and transaction information used to verify TaskSteer Premium access. Apple handles payment; TaskSteer does not receive your payment card details.
  • Service and security data: technical information processed by authentication and cloud services, such as IP address, device or app information and service logs needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Support messages: your email address and the information you choose to send us when requesting help.

4. Why we process these data

We use account and task data to sign you in, save and sync your content, maintain account separation and provide the features you request. We use purchase information to verify access, and necessary technical information to operate and protect the service. Support messages are used to respond to your request.

Where applicable, necessary processing supports providing the service you request, meeting legal obligations and protecting the service. Optional analytics and crash reporting rely on your separate choice. Accepting the Terms of Use and this policy is not consent to optional analytics or diagnostics.

5. Optional analytics and crash reporting

Usage analytics with Firebase Analytics and error diagnostics with Firebase Crashlytics are optional and off until you choose to enable them. You can change either choice in the app's privacy settings. Declining does not prevent you from using the app.

If enabled, analytics may include screens viewed, feature or purchase events, app and device information and identifiers used by the service. Diagnostics may include crash traces, error codes, technical logs, app and device information and an account identifier when signed in. These data help us understand use and investigate failures.

We do not send your task titles, step text or other user-written task content as analytics events. TaskSteer does not include an advertising tracking SDK or use the advertising identifier for campaign tracking. We do not sell your task content.

Turning an optional setting off stops future collection through that setting; it does not automatically erase reports already sent. Contact us if you want to discuss removal of previously collected data.

6. Service providers and sharing

TaskSteer uses Google Firebase Authentication for sign-in and Cloud Firestore for account-associated data storage and synchronization. Optional Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are used only with the choices described above. Apple supplies purchase and subscription services. Google, Facebook and Apple process sign-in activity under their own policies when you choose their login options.

These providers may process data in countries other than your own. Their service-specific privacy and processing terms describe their handling and retention. See Firebase's privacy and security information. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to address fraud, abuse or security issues.

7. Retention and deletion

Local task data remains on your device while stored by the app. Account-associated data is retained to provide your saved tasks and synchronization until you request account deletion, subject to service operation and legal requirements. Removing a task from the visible list can leave a deletion record containing its saved data in local and cloud synchronization records until associated account data is removed.

You can request deletion through the app or by email as described on the data deletion page. We verify requests before removing account-associated data. Provider backups and technical or diagnostic records follow the relevant service retention processes; deletion is not an instant purge of every backup. We may retain limited records where necessary for a legal obligation, security or resolving a purchase or support issue.

8. Your choices and requests

You can edit task content, change privacy preferences, control notification permission through iOS, and manage subscriptions through Apple. You can contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, or to ask about any other rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity. Do not send passwords, identity documents or private task content unless we explain why information is needed through a secure process.

If applicable, you may raise a privacy concern with your local data protection authority. Contacting us does not limit that right.

9. Security and important limits

We use account access controls and the protections of our service providers. Cloud sync is not end-to-end encrypted. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid entering information you do not want stored or synced, and keep your device and sign-in accounts secure.

10. Adults, website and policy updates

TaskSteer is intended for adults and is not designed to collect children's personal data. If you believe a child has supplied data, contact us. These pages do not embed analytics or advertising scripts; hosting may process technical request logs to serve and protect the site.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above shows the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or this site as appropriate.
